Who Are We?
DCMS Productions also known as “Don’t Cut My Song” is a non-profit organization founded by a group of creative artists, whose passion is to bring theater and art into the hearts of our community through acting, dance and song. We strive to instill valuable life skills that will empower our youth and community. All our workshops and productions will allow individuals to learn how to express themselves, develop public speaking skills, build self confidence along with promoting teamwork. It is our hope that through these experiences a genuine deeper appreciation of the arts will be nurtured.
In a world full of chaos, it is also our goal to infuse a little joy, music, and laughter to soothe an aching soul. Our productions and workshops are carefully selected, to promote a message of hope, fun, and smiles, leaving our audience members changed, moved, and looking forward to the next story to be unfolded. It is our honor to provide you our community a little escape from reality, and a memorable experience to last a lifetime.
“The arts empower. The arts give a voice to the voiceless. The arts help transform American communities and, as I often say, the result can be a better child, a better town, a better nation and certainly a better world. Let’s champion our arts action heroes, emulate them and make our communities everything we want them to be.”
- Robert L. Lynch, President, Americans for the Arts
