danielleDanielle Gauss, President, Executive Producer

One of the founders of DCMS, Danielle is a 30 year veteran of the stage. Literally born into a family of traveling performers, you might say theater is more of a family tradition then a trade. She attended Vanguard University with a full theater scholarship, before transferring to UCSD to obtain her medical degree. She has performed on many stages throughout California and Las Vegas, as well as behind the scenes as a theatrical make-up artist.She has been married for 15 yrs and is the mother to two fabulous girls.



 Colin Severn, Chief Financial Officer, Producer

One of the founding members of DCMS, Colin has been acting since the age of 11. His early roles include Giles Corey in The Crucible, Demetrius in Midsummer Night’s Dream and Herbert in I’m Herbert and more recently as the Wino and Narrator in Little Shop of Horrors, as well as Juror #1 in 12 Angry Men. Colin is enjoying the production side of the business with his DCMS family, while also being actively involved with his two beautiful children, and during the day is the CFO of a homebuilding company.




                                 Aaron Al-lmam, Musical Director/Producer

Aaron is AaronHeadshot1a Music Education Major from Vanguard University and grew up in Orange County, CA. Aaron is a private music instructor and has also music directed many musicals such as, You’re a Good Man Charlie Brown, Thoroughly Modern Millie, Godspell, and Joseph. Aaron has played the lead roles of Jesus in Godspell, Joseph in Joseph, and Motel in Fiddler. He has also been in Man of La Mancha, Thoroughly Modern Millie, Les Miserable and All Shook Up. Aaron recently wrote and directed an original production called Pinocchio, A Christmas Tale in December 2014.




trentenTrenten Brown, Vice President, Producer

One of the founding members of DCMS, Trenten is both a professional actor and prominent entrepreneur. He began his technical training at the young age of 10, performing in many venues throughout Las Vegas, California, and Arizona. Currently he resides in LA where he is professionally represented. He is thrilled to be part of such a fantastically talented group of entertainers.


Ka9k=ren Sckelford, Production Manager/Secretary

Karen has worked as Production Manager for the last several years on shows such as: Peter Pan, Cinderella, Kiss Me Kate, Little Shop of Horrors, and Wizard of Oz.  She also runs many non-profit organizations including Ocean Institute. She enjoys taking road trips, taking care of her chickens, dogs, and cat. She has been married for 15 years to her supportive husband, and is proud mother of a fantastic daughter who is a theatrical star in her own right. She is thrilled to be a part of DCMS.




colleen2Colleen Brown, Theatrical Director

Colleen has worked professionally with several theatre companies as Production manager /Director in impressive venues all through out Las Vegas and California. She spent 25 yrs teaching high school theater during that time she earned the prestigious award for “Most Innovative Theater Program in the United States”. She currently resides as the Theatrical Director for the Arts and Learning Conservatory, and holds a Masters in Theater from UNLV, Bachelors of Arts from San Diego State University.





Dakota Denton, Production Assistant

Dakota is an actor and vocalist, as well as a professional photographer. He has been in the entertainment business for the last 6 years. He has been seen lighting up the stage in “Little Shop of Horrors”, Into the Woods, Kiss me Kate, and a few original productions. Along with theater, he also thoroughly enjoys film acting and has starred in several festival films.



Matthew Daniels, Set Design

After a long career of being a football coach, and long standing career as an electrician, Matthew joined the theatrical team of set design 4 years ago. Following his son’s dream as an actor, Coach Daniels began his training as set constructor to support his son’s love for the art. He brings an array of creativity and talent to our DCMS stage crew.





Elise Ybarra, Choreographer

Elise graduated with a degree in Drama at University Of California, Irvine. She is delighted to choreograph for DCMS productions. She has also choreographed Phantom of the Opera, Kiss Me Kate , Grease,Into the Woods, You’re a Good Man Charlie Brown, Little Shop of Horrors and Suessical. She is Currently the  Head of the theatre department at Jserra Catholic High school and Costume Designs and choreographs  productions at  other High schools, Community Colleges and regional and community theaters all over Southern California .



Sydney Fitzgerald, Assistant Director/Stage Manager

Sydney is a undergrad a Cal State Fullerton majoring in Theater Arts and Direction. She has an extensive background in theater as an actor in such productions as “Seussical”, “Little Shop of Horrors” , “Urinetown”, as well as Director for “Sure Thing”. Recently she Assistant Directed “Aladdin Jr.” and will be assistant stage manager for “Next To Normal”. She is beyond excited to be a part of the DCMS family.






Jessica Rowley, Stage Manager

Jessica has been performing since she was a kid, but she didn’t start her interest in the technical side of theatre until late in high school. She went to Cal State Fullerton in pursuit of a degree in Theatre Arts but later switched to a degree in Comparative Religion. In 2010 she was asked to be the Stage Manager for Godspell but then took a six year break from theatre as she focused on graduation and her new career as manager of a dance studio. In 2016, opportunities to be involved in theatre abounded and she Stage Managed for Godspell, Fiddler on the Roof, Pinocchio: A Christmas Tale, and Next to Normal. Jessica is very thankful to once again be involved in the theatre community, and looks forward to many more shows!


Kim Jones, Theatrical Director

Kim has a Bachelor’s Degree in Theater Arts from UCLA/UCSC and has been in the theater world since the age of 8.  She started out as a performer but eventually transitioned to working behind the scenes as a director, producer, stage manager, and other technical support.  Some of her favorite directing and producing credits include Godspell, The Breakfast Club, Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dream coat, and Bye Bye Birdie.  She is thrilled to be part of the talented DCMS team.







Nathaniel Brown, Musical Director

Returning to California from New York City where he traveled and worked as a musical director for professional, regional and educational theaters all over the East Coast. He has had the pleasure of musically directing several shows including: Addams Family, “Legally Blonde”, “Aida”, Curtains, “Fiddler on the Roof”, and most recently “Next to Normal”. He holds his degree in Musical Theater Theory and is a wonderful addition to the DCMS family.





Peggy Iriarte, Costumer

Peggy Iriarte is a Freelance Costume/Fashion Designer who has been  designing professionally since she graduated from F.I.D.M in 1989.Peggy specializes in creating one of a kind custom designs
peggyand feels blessed to be doing what she loves!

Recently designed costumes for Productions of “Seussical Jr” and “Little Mermaid”.Peggy lives in Lake Forest with her three amazing children and high school sweetheart of 32 years.
